BSA requires Youth Protection Training (YPT) for all adults at camp during the day, and generally who have contact with youth.

Additionally, Glaciers Edge Council (the Summer Camp Organizers) requires any adults staying one or more overnights at Summer Camp to be a registered BSA leader.

This is a departure from BSA’s standard policy which states that leader registration is required when there is an adult staying 72 consecutive or nonconsecutive hours. This applies at the Troop level during longer camps, for instance, backcountry trips.
